I have been writing forever. Partly to unravel my thoughts, partly to share funky facts, but mostly out of fear that the good ideas would otherwise escape and slip away for good.

Around 2009, some of that writing even found its way onto a blog. Looking back, it seems like we all had blogs back then. After all, those were the golden times of the internet - when YouTube was full of silly camcorder movies, GIFs and ASCII signatures reigned in forums, and Flash games kept us glued to our screens. Oh, how we tended our precious little RSS feeds. How we read each other’s musings and plunged into endless discussions about them, talking well into the small hours of the night.

Back then, writing online felt like sending messages into the dark. You never quite knew who might stumble upon them, only that someone eventually would. In many ways, that simple joy of not knowing has never quite left me. This site is a tribute: casting words into the void, trusting that now and then they will wash up where they are meant to.

Me? I am a dreamer, tangled up in reason. Annoyingly curious, obsessed with patterns, yet delighted at oddities and easily distracted by beauty. I love music, I adore thinking about the world, and I am endlessly charmed by ordinary wonders — follies, coffee, puzzles, starlight; slow mornings, good stories, blithe laughter, sweet cadence.1
